We've genuinely loved working with our client, a business owner in Tralee, Co. Kerry, to generate such a positive return on online advertising spend.

Initially, we agreed a scope of work to focus on improving organic keyword rankings via Search Engine Optimization (SEO). However, after improvements in Organic Search, our client wanted see if Google Ads could also increase sales.

So, we used data from our extensive SEO project to influence the keywords we targeted alongside the ad copy within the search ads. This led to results such as strong Click Through Rate (CTR), that is the amount of clicks generated from the amount of times the ads were shown (also known as impressions) and in turn a Conversion Rate of 18%, both over a six month period.

1. Keyword Research

Using organic keyword research from our SEO project, we started by putting ourselves in ‘the shoes of the customer’.

2. Targeting

Once we agreed a list of keywords, we looked at other key factors such as location and landing pages to target, as well as bidding strategy.

3. Ongoing Measurement

To ensure positive ROI, we agreed two key metrics with the client that we would frequently measure - Click Through Rate (CTR) and Conversion Rate.

Results
